My gorgeous wife, and I gave birth to our beautiful baby boy Evan Isaiah yesterday, 1-14-11. He was born at 8:26 AM and weighed 6 lbs. 12 ounces. He is so precious. I took these in between family coming in and out yesterday and wanted to share them with all of you! I plan to take some “newborn” photos later this week, but for now, we are just enjoying our precious new boy, who is so sweet and makes the cutest little chirping noises when he sleeps.
I don’t think I’ve ever seen a baby born this blonde before! Wow! He’s suuuuper cute and I’m so glad that E had an easy birth! I was shocked at how fast it was! And you got the post up so fast, too! What a pleasant surprise
Who do you guys think he looks like initially? I can’t tell, but I bet you two can

How precious Evan is!! He is so cute!! He should be the most photographed little boy in this world!! Enjoy & treasure him every second. They grow way to fast! It felt like it was just yesterday that you were in your mothers arms as a new born!

Thank you for all the replies and comments! He is wonderful and we are so excited to have him! Every time I look at him I have new feelings of pride and happiness.
@Sarah – You know I think he is a good mix of Elizabeth and me actually. He has some of my features like the eyes / eyebrow shape, but I think he has Elizabeth’s lips and chin, etc. He is perfectly his own. His hair is pretty blonde, but it is more of a “dirty blonde” at the moment. His eyes are also blue. The jury is still out on whether he will swing the way of his dad and have darker hair with green eyes, or if his current features will hold and look more like his mama. Its hard to tell – I had blonde hair and blue eyes as a baby as well.
