I’m Alex (Yes, that’s me in the photo), and I am so glad you are stopping by!

So that you know a little about me:

I love photography.  Not just the click of the button, or the editing that takes place later – I love getting to meet new faces, become invested in their most special moments, and have the ability to make something new and truly different.  Every wedding, – every session –  is an opportunity to make something amazing.

That’s why I love photography.

I married the most amazing woman, Elizabeth, in 2005, and we just had our first child (my little wildman, Evan) in January 2011.  They are everything to me.  You can read more about our crazy life at OurLifeBlog!

I have studied photography/communication/design privately and corporately through many training sessions & workshops and universities such as:  Lee University, Tennessee Tech. University, and The University of TN Knoxville.  I hold two bachelors degrees, and a Masters in Communications.

I love Canon cameras, and have been using them since I first photographed a wedding over 10 years ago using my first 35mm Canon.

I primarily shoot weddings in the Cookeville/Upper Cumberland/Nashville area, and also the Cleveland/Chattanooga area, but I am up for anything.  I love, love, love to travel.  When I have free time, I am always trying to plan my next big getaway.  Wedding photography has taken me as far as Jamaica, so if you are thinking of a destination wedding – give me a shout!

Finally, it is my desire to just produce great, stunning images and meet amazing people.
